A passionate developer with a creative mind

Designer by education, developer by interest, tinkerer by curiosity.

Ever since I was younger I was fascinated by technology. While all my friends were playing a hacked version of a game called "tibia", I was more interested in how to create a version for myself. This is where my passion for programming arose as I had to figure out how to host a server, create a database or even change the game code to make it work as I wanted it to work.

Puzzling and figuring out how complex systems works is what motivates me to keep on learning from the day I wrote my first hello world up until this day.

I noticed very early on that most people in IT are mainly fascinated by technology itself. Even though I get joy from using cool new technologies. I do get more joy from using those technologies to add value to the lives of people.

After a year into my IT studies I quit and started my journey into the world of digital design at CMD Amsterdam. After graduating I joined the international Master Digital Design to deepen this knowledge.

In both studies I learned tons about the digital domain while I also kept on improving my technological skills and I would like to consider myself as a creative technologist.

Combining technology with good design. Developing tools that enable professionals to better perform their work or empower individuals is what makes me run that extra mile.

Working together with people from different backgrounds towards a common goal is something I value. Great solutions come from various perspectives.

Even though I am mostly tech-focused, being involved in both UX and development is where my strength lies.
